Gone are the days when one had to be in same network. iVMS-4500 allows anyone to connect cameras and live stream from anywhere.
How does iVMS-4500 work?
The first requirement is a physical CCTV camera. This can be of any company or type. Make sure that it can be connected to internet. Having a public IP would be a plus. These are also called network cameras. Users can also make use of embedded DVR and NVR.
Once the CCTV is in place, just connect it with the WiFi and then put its credentials in the iVMS-4500 app.
Installing iVMS-4500 for PC allows users to monitor CCTV cameras directly from their laptops and desktop computers. Moreover, use the same credentials to use on phone on-the-go.
If the CCTV camera does not have a public IP, then just map a public port of WiFi router to it. Otherwise, it is viewable only when user is connected to same network.

The features of iVMS-4500 include watching livestream of CCTV or security cameras and even recording them. Users are free to watch the livestream from anywhere. Moreover, if the recording is enabled, then watch the past videos anytime. These are sorted by date and time.
In case the alarms are enabled, then it can record those as well. Anytime that alarm goes off, iVMS-4500 app records that footage and saves it with that title. It also saved time and date.
iVMS-4500 also supports PTZ controls. This means that users can Pan, tilt and zoom their cameras in real-time. Trying to find the perfect angle, just use the app and it will do so in real-time.
Resolutions supported on iVMS-4500 app are 480*800, 480*854, 960*540, 1280*720, 800*1280 and 1920*1080.
In case the livestream is stuttering, try lowering the resolution, bitrate or overall quality. It is probably due to poor internet connection.
How to install iVMS-4500 for PC Win/Mac
Before continuing to install iVMS-4500 for PC, make sure that you running one of these operating systems: Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or Mac OSX. Now head over HERE and select the best emulator for yourself.
Once done, either download iVMS-4500 APK or just use Play Store. Installing iVMS-4500 for PC via APK requires downloading it from a third party website. Otherwise, just login to Play Store, search for “iVMS-4500” and click on install.
