A much-awaited upgrade for the Doodle series on mobile. Doodle Space Lost in Time is pure arcade style game with lot of upgrades to play for. As soon as we see the space and rocket words, we assume it is going to be another shooter. However, it is not! It is actually a defensive game. Enemy rockets, bombs, meteoroids and other enemy types will attack. You have to evade them while moving. Moreover, collect more coins while moving to buy upgrades, new rockers and space colony upgrades.
Doodle Space Lost in Time is not an attacking game. It is more of a dodge and evade type. There are only two controls. Either slow down the rocket or speed it up. However, players cannot stop rockets at any point. The main rocket has linear motion straight up and down. It is shown at left side of screen. Press and hold left side to slow down rocket while right side to speed it up. The enemy objects slide in from right side of scree. There are specific patterns to each of their motions. Moreover, the way two enemy objects are paired also has a pattern. In order to become an expert at it, learn and master these patterns. Otherwise, it is very easy to get caught.
Use the coins collected in each stage to upgrade to either a new rocket or unlock new powers/abilities. These include the likes of extra health, coin magnet, shield and score multiplier. These boosters help in getting further in more difficult levels. In total, there are 12 spaceships / spacecrafts in Doodle Space Lost in Time. These are all unlocked by using coins. Lastly, as anyone would expect, this game has hand-drawn graphics. Therefore, it is rated for children of 3 years or older. However, you will find a lot of adults playing it!
