These are open-source software and are community-maintained. Thruk, on the other hand, is a web interface monitoring system that supports Icinga, Naemon, Nagios, and Shinken. Thruk uses a Livestatus API to do its job. It’s a drop-in replacement and it has almost all the features with 100% support for mentioned platforms. The main purpose of Thruk is to enhance usability and improve large-scale installations.

Getting back to aNag, if you use Thruk or any of the other tools, the aNag is going to be handy. Not only that, it also works with the Opsview. If your job requires you to monitor these systems, having aNag won’t be less than a blessing. aNag is loaded with features that will make it extremely easy to control those tools.

First of all, aNag supports Icinga 1.x or 2 with its classic UI. It supports Thruk v2.32 or higher. It also supports EyesOfNetwork. You can perform client certificate authentication with this app. There is no server-side modification required while using aNag. It performs the background refresh on its own. aNag offers custom notifications. It does have the option to submit a passive check. It also offers pattern-based filtering including regexp, contains, starts with, ends with, against server name service messages or a selection. aNag has a brilliant alert system in place. Its alarm system will let you know if any services fail or act up.

  1. Open the BlueStacks Android emulator on your computer.
  2. Log in to BlueStacks using your old or new Google Account.
  3. Now open the Google Play Store in the emulator.
  4. Using the search option, find aNag.
  5. As you find aNag, install it.
  6. Open aNag for PC now and set it up in order to use it.
