Quick Navigation
A good video player should not only play offline but online videos too. You TV Player is a cool solution that offers both offline and online playback. What this means is that, you just input a video link into the app and it starts streaming it. The possibilities are endless. Stream favorite matches live, TV shows and what not! Moreover, play the offline videos with hardware acceleration on for smoothest viewing experience.
After the first installation, You TV Player app automatically searches for all videos stored in local storage. It gets the videos from both internal memory and the SD Card (if there is a SD Card). Next up, just look for the thumbnail of the video you want to watch and click on it. It supports hardware acceleration for better experience.
If there are subtitles includes as well, use synchronization tools to align with sound. It can get really annoying if subtitles and sound are not in sync.
You TV Player supports these formats: AVI, 3GP, M4V, MOV, MP4, WMV, RMVB, MKV, TS, MPG, FLV. All the videos stored on devices are automatically detected and sorted. Users do not have to do manual adding or searching for this.
In addition to this, also play live streams on You TV Player. These include live football matches, live TV shows, News channels and much more. If some videos are hosted in cloud, it could stream those too. Just paste the link and let the app handle rest of it.
Interestingly, You TV Player offers a unique feature. Users can login using services like Facebook and save their preferences online. First of all create a username and an avatar. These help your friends identify you. Oh yeah! Add friends too! How cool is that. Keep a track of their activities in news feed.
The personal accounts of all users also store online links of streams and even cloud videos. Therefore, even if someone is signing into another device or new device, all data shifts automatically. There is no hassle of finding or sorting everything again manually.
You TV Player is not officially supported by Chromecase. Otherwise, there would be a screening logo on top right of screen. However, in order to use it, just cast the entire screen of phone or laptop on TV. Then turn on the app and make it full screen. That’s it! Although it is not as simple as it should be, it still works.
If there is lag or stuttering while using Chromecast, turn off hardware acceleration in settings.
