It was just a matter of time before the copy of Fortnite came to Android and iOS. The latest sensation is brought to mobile world by none other than NetEase games. FortCraft is a battle royale game with most of its mechanics copied directly from Fortnite. It offers a very large battle arena. Almost everything is destructible and provide building materials.
Lets discuss the basics of FortCraft and how it works. It is, at the core, a battle royale game. The main objective of such a game is to survive from among all the players that land on that island. Use any method necessary to survive and be the #1 victory royale champion. During this time, an outer wall keeps shrinking. If any player stays out of force field for too long, then they will die because storm anyway.
The fun element of FortCraft is building part. It is the most unique idea we have seen in quite a while. Before Fortnite, PUBG was in the headlines. Even though it was very interesting, yet it did not have anything other than mainstream shooting. The Fortnite building part offers a huge skill gap. It makes sure that only the skilled players come on top. Moreover, the building part makes it way more creative and fun to play.
FortCraft for Android and iOS follows in same footsteps. It offers massive options for buildings like ladders, walls, doors and so on. Players have option to building full-fledged building, houses and castles. When the player count starts dropping, then simple shooting does not help. Players actually have to build walls around to protect themselves. We can usually see some epic building battles on stream.
FortCraft offers various game modes. Either enter into it as a solo player or join a team. The number of members in a team can vary. Moreover, in-game chat options make it way easier to coordinate and communicate among teammates. The team mode also makes it possible to heal hurt members. This way, they can go along a long way. In solo mode, about 100 players land in an arena. The team battles also contain 100 players but the number of opponents is divided in groups.
After landing in the main island, first priority should be to collect as many materials as possible using hammer or any other mining tool. Hit any thing like tree, house, walls, trash bins and more. These will give off building materials. Use these materials to build intricate structures during battles.
The selection of weapons is also adequate. There is not a large supply of weapons but it is still enough. In total, there are five classes to choose from: pistol, shotgun, submachine gun, rifle and sniper rifle. There are some special weapons too including a bazooka, flamethrower and grenade thrower. Use these weapons to completely demolish your opponents.
Even thought the real Fortnite is coming to mobile as well, but until then, we’ll enjoy FortCraft for PC. It is the mobile version and it works well. It contains three main gameplay/control schemes to suit all types of gamers. However, to have the best advantage, play FortCraft for PC for best controls and shooting skills. It works with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Mac OS and Mac OSX.
Follow one of following methods to download and play FortCraft on laptops and computers. The most preferable emulator is Bluestacks 3. It works well with custom key mapping. Whether someone wants to play FortCraft on Windows 10 or Mac, it is just perfect.
