MEye is a famous remote surveillance software. The Android version of MEye can be utilized as the MEye PC version. In this tutorial, we will show you how to download MEye for PC. You can install MEye PC on Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, and macOS. The MEye for PC works on all desktop PCs and Laptops.

About MEye

To be more precise, users need to install IP cameras to make them work. These cameras have their own address. It is unique to each camera. These IP cameras are installed on the same Wi-Fi network. After installing on the network, enter the IP address and/or mobile port on the MEye App. It will automatically connect with hardware. Once it is active, watch it live from anywhere.

There are tons of useful features to look for. Most importantly, it supports DVR (both old and new), security cameras, and IP cameras. Therefore, it should work with most of the hardware. However, there is one thing to look out for. If someone is using a DVR with port number 34567, 37777, 8101, 8000 or 5800 then it would work just fine. Otherwise, the DVR is probably an older version. In that case, select the option “Only Support old device” and restart it. It will connect with DVR then.

In terms of camera controls, it offers PTZ controls. These options must be available on hardware as well. Otherwise, these options are useless. Also use MEye to record security footage. This is stored on phone or SD card connected to DVR. Users can also take snapshots in live video. These are stored and viewed via in-app player. The usability in this case is pretty sweet.

In order to use MEye for PC, download and install an Android emulator. The best emulator right now is Bluestacks 3. It works with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Mac OS and Mac OSX. Now just follow one of following methods to download and use MEye for PC on laptops and desktop computers.

How to Download and Install MEye for PC

If you are using Windows, download and install BlueStacks 3.
If you are using Mac, download and install BlueStacks.
Setup your installed emulator according to the instructions explained in the guides.
Now open BlueStacks or BlueStacks 3.
Mac users: For BlueStacks, click on the Search icon and type the name as “MEye“ and then click on the Search using Google Play. Upon finding the game in Play Store, install it.
Windows users: For BlueStacks 3, click on My Apps > System Apps > Google Play Store.
In the Google Play Store’s search bar, type “MEye” and search. As soon as the game appears, install it.
After the installation comes to an end, the game will appear in My Apps tab of BlueStacks 3 and All Apps tab of BlueStacks.
You can now launch the game and follow the instructions given on the screen to play it.That’s all.

How to install MEye for PC using APK

Download and save MEye APK on your PC.
If you are using Windows, download and install BlueStacks 3.
If you are using Mac, download and install BlueStacks.
Setup your installed emulator according to the instructions explained in the guides. Now open BlueStacks or BlueStacks 3.
On Windows, double-click on downloaded MEye APK icon.
Select Bluestacks 3 as a preferred app to open it (if it’s not already selected).
It will be installed automatically and you will receive notification when done.
Open Bluestacks 3 and click on MEye icon. It’s now available for use.
On Mac, install Dropbox on Bluestacks using Play Store.
Open same Dropbox account on your browser or Mac and upload MEye APK there.
Now open Bluestacks, download APK onto emulator and install it using Android’s APK installer.
Once done, you will find in the app drawer.
That’s it! Now you can use MEye on Windows as well as Mac.
